Our mountain is wonderfully rich in wild harvest. Mushrooms are one of the biggest wild treats—morels, oyster mushrooms, chicken of the woods, and chanterelles. But starting in early Spring and right into winter we can harvest ramps, bloodroot, black raspberries, branch lettuce, chickweed, blackberries, lamb’s quarter, wild mints, black walnuts, grapes, and all sorts of other wild delicacies.
